Asus Shows Off Their Next Crossfire Motherboard

At this year's Games Convention ASUS is showing off their new RD780 M3A-MVP motherboard. It will feature the new Socket AM2+, but it will be able to handle any AM2 CPU along with the new Phenoms. It will also be able to run DDR2 up to 8500 (1066MHz) speeds, and it will feature two PCI-E 2.0 compliant x16 slots.

It's about time we got a few AMD boards with ATI chipset for crossfire!
Just hope it's worth the wait.(heard about these being developed last year)

Hopefully this new AMD chipset with a Phenom will overclock like a core 2 with p35.

Too bad the picture is a bit dark.

Yes i know i can brighten it up. Sounds nice, i´m about to upgrade my system. But where is the phenom cpu, i want one, so i dont have to go to the dark side.

It looks like them, but the cooler doesn't match exactly and none of the current available ROG's have an ATI chipset.(2-Nvidea 1-Intel)

I have an RD580 and its kick ass....so I wouldnt say they suck, mines been rock solid and stable and oc up the wazooo...

this is a great looking board and I cant wait to get it when it comes out....

also, ddr3 isnt worth getting right now, especially with the prices....to include it on this board would make it more than already expensive than it is.
