Cooler Master Jet 4 - anyone using this around here?

how does it perform? isn't this too heavy for the motherboard?

Ya that is heavy...just google for it and find some reviews. Why not go for a Zalman 7700 alcu. They are really good and weight 600. BTW its me...I think I spend more time on this site then I do gaming...and thats a lot.

You'd be suprised how much torque silicon can handle. I've always had heavy copper heatsinks, my Venus 12 is rated at 760g, and I weighed it myself and it came out at 2lbs and I've never had any problems, I lug this computer around to LANs pretty regularly too.

They can handle the weight as long as you don't jerk the cooler some how and put pressure. The wouldn't make them if the caused damage.
