Intel Steps Closer to PC Modders

Intel Corp. has announced that it would supply its clients mainboards on both black and blue print-circuit boards (PCBs). While Intel cites availability reasons for the move, blue PCBs are likely to attract attention of enthusiasts, who modify their computers in order to get fancy and attractive outlook of their PCs.
Intel’s Desktop Board D955XBK – Intel’s current top-of-the-range mainboard – from July 6 will be supplied with blue and black PCB, according to the company’s statement
“Adding an alternate PCB (printed circuit board) which is Blue in color. This enables the use of additional PCB sources, ensures availability, and increases the verity of PCB colors for customers,” Intel said in a product change notification.
Intel did not provide pictures of its blue mainboards.
“There are no functional differences between the existing Black PCBs and the new Blue PCBs. Customers are advised to be prepared to receive mixed shipments of either color. The phrase ‘colors may vary’ applies to this product as both blue and black boards will be used,” the statement read.
It is not a secret that computer enthusiasts today pay attention to both performance and outlook of their systems. The most advanced use untraditional, such as water, coolers as well as modified computer cases with exclusive design, thus, there is no surprise that they acquire computer components which already feature eccentric colors and design.
Intel has been pretty friendly to enthusiasts in the recent years. For instance, it introduced its Desktop Control Center software that could tweak performance of the system in order to get maximum performance or lowest noise.

verity: 1. The quality or condition of being true, factual, or real.
2. Something, such as a statement, principle, or belief, that is true, especially an enduring truth: “The mind once suddenly aware of a verity for the first time immediately invents it again” (Agnes Sligh Turnbull). See Synonyms at truth.

However, variety:

The quality or condition of being various or varied; diversity.

Simple typo.
