why do they still bother with ide.... I hate ide ports on new boards....

for burners. Not everyone wants to replace thier perfectly good IDE burner for a SATA one that offers no performance gain whatsoever, and they don't offer molex support either (any that I've seen).

Also, still use molex alot, my burner takes molex, my hard drive has the option of molex (which I happily use), and my VGA fan uses molex too. Soon I will have a passive 8500 which of course needs no power for the fan but I will be using a PCI slot fan along with it which of course takes molex.

ture i want a new Nvidia 7 series SLI with DDR3 1600Mhz lol 1333FSB more like 1600FSB will do me fine

Intel bought a license for SLI from nVidia last year, could this be the board that will offer support for that feature?

EDIT: After googling a little bit, I found this:

According to the Inq, this could be Intel's first SLI chipset:

X38 will do SLI

I guess we'll have to wait for an official confirmation for this.

X38 will do SLi, with Quadro cards only.
