I haven't heard back from Yin as of yet so as far as I know, the signup list is up to date. Just want to remind everyone that there is roughly a day left to get your name submitted for the contest. I also may be out of town this weekend and might not have access to the internet but I will be back on Sunday evening. If this is the case, the drawing for the prizes will be moved to either the 2nd or 3rd of December.

Also, just sold the MSI MBOX AMD 3200+ PC computer so thank you all!

Well said, my friend.

Sorry about the delay, Mediocre. I have obligations outside of TPU, namely real life, that needed attention which ultimately lead to the slight delay.

Anyhow...

The moment you all have been waiting for...

(The anticipation must be thick enough to cut with a knife... )

The winners have been drawn and PMs will be sent shortly! Once I have received all the winners selections for prizes turned back in to me via PM, I will make a final announcement here as well as on the main forum containing a complete list of said winners and their prizes!

Again, thanks to everyone who participated and good luck!

Well, sort of. If you consider roughly 10-12 kits, on average, semi-annually, to be lots then I suppose so!

Just waiting on one last person to submit their info! It just so happens to be the last place winner so the prizes are pretty much all spoken for. I guess I could jump the gun a little bit and issue a pre-announcement, so to speak...

Just wanted to let the TPU giveaway winners know that your prizes will be shipping soon! I'll contact you when they do ship and provide tracking info if possible!

Also, added this to the "For Sale" list :

Quote:
AM2 "Cool n' Quite" Vista OS AMD/ATi Budget Gamer PC / Brand new in BOX ! ! ! @ $399 - Newegg.com price = $600+ - PRICE REDUCED ! ! ! Would Make A Very Nice X-Mas Present !

I've just finished building a brand new small form factor budget gamer for a client whom ultimately backed out of the transaction and instead of part it back out and try to send things back to Newegg, I've decided to see if anyone here would be interested!? It's a brand new Vista/DX10 (capable) system thats ready for midrange gaming and I'm going to start off by selling it for a tasty price! If it does not end up selling here, it will go to eBay where it will ultimately sell for more than what I am asking! For those out there that may be interested and are overclocking junkies, the motherboard does feature a decent overclocking friendly setup and the CPU is a Brisbane core which needs no introduction to AMD enthusiasts as it is a great low TDP and good overclocker.

This PC comes fully assembled in retail box and shipped directly to your door, ready to go! I am going to start off by asking just $400 USD for the entire setup, this includes testing and assembly fees but not shipping and handling. As you can see with the screenshot provided below, it cost well over $600 USD and that is without the OS. I will ship this PC fully formatted with a fresh install of Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, updated and with the lastest system drivers as well! I frankly can't see how you could possibly do better for an entire respectable DX10 capable gaming system and still be under $400 USD, this is honestly a good bargin deal!

Here is what is included :
  1. HEC 6K28BB8F Piano/Mirrored Black Finish 0.8mm SECC Steel MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case
  2. HEC Orion Series XPOWER585 ATX from factor 12V V2.01 585W Power Supply (I)
  3. AMD Athlon X2 BE-2350 Brisbane 2.1GHz Socket AM2 65nm 45W Processor Model ADH2350DOBOX
  4. ABIT NF-M2S AM2 NVIDIA GeForce6100 / nForce430 uATX AMD Motherboard (1x PCIE x16, 1x PCIE x1, 2x PCI, 2x DDR2 DIMM, Onboard GF 6100 Video + 7.1 CH Sound)
  5. Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT12864AL804
  6. ATi Radeon X800 NP 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card
  7. Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
  8. Sony NEC Optiarc 18X DVD±R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM Write Black SATA Model AD-7170S-0B
  9. Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate x86 OEM Install (will also include a backup Vista OS installation disk with this PC)
