Pepsi Co. Unleashes Mountain Dew 'Game Fuel'

Many gamers know that a boost of caffeine will help get you through a long night of fragging online. One company has taken that concept and created a new drink aimed at the uber-geek. Mountain Dew's 'Game Fuel' is a special blend of Mountain Dew designed to give you the ultimate energy boost for gaming. It is even advertised as the perfect beverage while playing Halo 3. The drink should be available everywhere. For more marketing gimmicks and information check the website

Seems to me that Bungie has sold-out to the big man. Halo 3 isn't on my list.

Pepsi is taking its mountain dew brand and running the gauntlet and kicking some serious ass.

Chicken flavored energy drinks shouldn't exist.

I guess there's no point marketing mountain dew based energy drinks to anyone other than gamers, so it's probably a decent move on their part.

That's good enough for me. I'll try it out.
I always like trying out new drinks anyway.

The kids and I tried that along with a few freinds. All votes are in (9 total); "Taste like crap", was the overall consensus!

Seems like the popular thing to do among beverage companies is to supersaturate their drinks with caffine and market it. Half a can of regular Coke will keep me up all night but I can only imagine how long a whole bottle of this stuff will keep me up...

yeah, game fuel is pretty good. got a few cases sitting in my garage. but as soon as i saw halo 3 on the can, i almost threw them all away. cuz now you're gonna get everyone and anyone playing games. not that its a bad thing, but its kinda stupid if no one has ever heard of halo...not like no one has heard of it before...but still. i don't even think that made sense...lol

Considering in computing terms microsoft is the 'big man', they done this long ago (before halo 1)
