just wanted to say i think the bfg website is crappy,im trying to dl the manual for the 680i sli board and it just keeps stopping before its finished.

Edit: I just downloaded it off their site without a problem, perhaps it isn't their site at fault?

I've got the eVGA board, which is identical since they are both reference boards. The only difference might be slight BIOS tweaks between the two, but I don't even think they do that.

whats the performance like on that board? and whats it like for oc'ing?

would you say p35 chipset or 680i? it will be a E6750 going in it most likely.

It performs great, it really is a toss up between the 680i and the P35. Though I have had simply too many problems with the reference design to be able to recommend it to anyone. If you are going for a 680i board, go with one of the manufactures that don't use the reference design.

Overclocking is a dream on it though, the BIOS is very well laid out, and everything is pretty much logical. All your clock speeds are controlled by the Clock Speed section, all your voltages are controlled in the Voltage section, etc. There are a few things that are out of place, but it is much better than most boards where you have to hunt to find what you want.

what ones are not reference design newtekie? Im interested in upgrading sometime down the road and I havent seen any new sli boards released lately.

You can basically just look at a picture of the motherboard and tell. BFG, EVGA, and XFX are all reference. ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, and Abit all use their own designs.
