I had the same problem since 7.4's I installed Omega's. Never found a solution. Wait for the Omega 7.8's (so as to get the most from your card) or hopefully you'll find a solution...... Do you even need CatalystCC? Use ATi Tray tools.

I'm guessing that says "The application failed to initialise correctly (0xc0000135), click OK to terminate application". Am I right?

Anyway, try a reinstall, or just ditch it for ATI Tray Tools

You need MS "net" 3.0 to get it working, it seems 2.0 wont cut it anymore..

1- installed netframework 2.0
2- installed netframework 3.0
3- reisntalled drivers
4- HURRAY

ps: atitraytools lacks support for the hd26xx series completely, even atitool can measure temp and see correct clocks, and was done way before the cards hit the market

Nice!! About atitraytools ...I tried the beta(because its supports crossfire) with my set up and no way could i get crossfire to engage...so I was back to CCC...and for me its the best performer in my benches.

As longs .net framework 2.0 or better is installed PRIOR to CCC being installed, it will work fine. Using the CCC thats with 7.8s now.

Easy solution:

uninstall CCC and driver
run drivercleaner pro
reinstall .net 2.0
restart
install driver & CCC
