The controller (Falcon) is actually made by a company called Novint, while HaptX is a middleware product to integrate the controller into games and such.

Aslo, it's not just a vibrating controller, it is actually a 3 dimension force-feedback device so you can actually feel curves in surfaces and stuff like that.

Mine arrived yesterday. Something new to play with.

True, novint makes it...However is it easy to use ? Looks weird although the force feedback like feature is cool

I am not sure how easy it is to use as I have not tried mine yet, but Novint claims they are working on several new "grips" (including a recoiling gun one) that will make different things easier.

The only thing I have heard is that the "default" grip is a little small and does not seem to be a very natural hand position. (shrug)
