Sparkle Calibre 8800 GTX

Hello Everyone,

My boyfriend is wondering WHERE in the UNITED STATES (preferably online) he can purchase a Sparkle Calibre 8800 GTX. He is wanting to buy this card very badly and I am thinking about getting it for him for Christmas. Any ideas, anyone? God I hope so!!!! I have been searching all over the internet to no avail. So if you have any ideas please let me know. Any ideas that you all may have would be extremely HELPFUL!!!!!

Yours In Darkness,

Sparkle Calibre 8800 GTX

He's already tried TigerDirect. That's the main place he goes for ALL his computer parts. Tiger is no longer selling them. However, I just tried newegg.com and they don't have it either. Please, I need more help!!!

Any 8800GTX will be the same as a sparkle. I reccomend a XFX, BFG, or EVGA brand card instead of the sparkle.

I don't want anything else. It has to be a Sparkle Calibre 8800 GTX. He wants that one.

Sorry VM, I can't find one anywhere in the US. I see that you did not get any answers on "Yahoo!Answers" either.

There are several places in Canada if that is an option.

hey fellas this is the card he wants...and TBH I can see why he want this exact one!!!!!

done a bunch of googling and searching, which led me to SPARKLES site...low and behold this...they have no USA links.
I can find the card in Canada and the UK but nowhere in the US does this card seem to be for sale. Only way I see it in the US is by reviews!

^^ I agree but with a black pbc (main board), I think he has a windowed case.. you might also need a radbox for the radiator to attach to the back of his case.

black pbc is so much sexier, wish I had a card with a black pbc to compliment my new case.

but yeah you could also concider a 8800 Ultra card they look REAL nice in a windowed case to.

Your not gonna find this card, not even there local distributer has it. Now, if he wants a bad ass graphics card, then the Leadtek PX8800 Ultra Leviathan is the way to go, but it seem that is not sold any more , newegg used to have it...but no more. Now the second choice is that keep msi 8800 ultra that newegg has!

The Graphics Card

Sneekypeet,

Thank you soooo much. You are the only one that seems to be listening to me!!! Anyway, I haven't been able to find it here in the US either. TigerDirect DID have them but they are no longer selling them. I am about give up and see if I can get him to change his mind to another graphics card that would be about the same. I am also glad that you understand why he wants this particular one. Anyway, thanks again for your help.

Here's the best alternative I can come up with. http://www.sohodiffusion.com/produit.asp?num=5363
They might be able to get it to you, ask them. They seem to get it for order, http://www.frontierpc.com/ProductDet...VC-SF-P880PLUS
Thats all I could find I'm afraid.

Did a search myself and if you check out this page of a review, the packaging alone would look great under a tree.

That's great she's going through this trouble as she'll probably end up paying more than the fastest ultra to get hold of one but it'll definitely be somewhat unique in the states.

"K but nowhere in the US does this card seem to be for sale."

Probably because the Americans aren't still pedalling such ridiculous cooling solutions.

"OMG OMG LIKE OMG Guys guess what!?!" "WHAT DUDE!" "My old lady got me the sparkle!"
:gasps all around: "LIKE NO WAY MAN!" "SEE, IN SATAN WE TRUST!" "FOR SURE BROTHER!"
"So, we know you been hyped up on this computer sparkle thing for a while, but what does it do?!!?" "Well, it makes my computer go faster!" "Ya, but like, why the 'sparkle' model thing whatever??" "It just looks rad that's why!" "So, like you can see it when you're using the computer or ?? " "Well no, it's inside, I don't see it, you don't look at it..I mean well.. I don't know..."

lol......either this kid has been sold on some hype or he thinks that tacky cooling solution is going to work.

But you cannot argue with the girl, she says that's what he wants, and she wants to get what HE wants.

Unfortunatley, it might be a cold day in hell before it's found in the States.

Now, if you live, or know someone who lives in the MidWestern u.S., I can have it purchased here and hand carried overseas by a friend who will be leaving for the States in just under a month.

Now that I see the card I understand why. I was under the impression was just a reference GTX board. The cooler in the picture looks like the same one used on the TEC1950pro. Helleva nice cooler.

Its a custom cooler by Sparkle.. from looking around it seems they have an OC edition asell but you cant overclock that much more before hitting a wall..
