Screen flickers in 1280x1024 gaming

So i noticed recently, and this has never done this, that in any game i play, and benchmarks if the resolution is 1280x1024, like it flickers between the game and i think my desktop. This happens no where else except games. Ive played with nvidia settings, i dont know what to do. It only happens on that exact resolution too. Clueless

Try running it at 60Hz. LCDs only run at 60Hz anyway... it will work out better for you.
Second guess is video drivers.

I was thinkin that, so i checked all my settings nothings changed from what i normally have setup, maybe drivers, or something weird i thought of, maybe the theme program i have running is trying to be on top of the stack, causing the flickering. Really just a really far out idea better than nothing

Not all LCD's are at 60Hz, mine goes up to 75Hz and works fine. My wifes monitor goes up to 80-85Hz. Both LCD's

the resolution of my desktop is 1280x1024. So, turn off v sync, old drivers, and disable sli to see if thats causing the problem. I'll try this all and report back.

Take it out of SLI and try the games with one card. I'm getting the same problem in Age of Conan when in Crossfire. When I get out of Crossfire all works fine.

you can try it without the bridge that worked for me it was a problem with how the driver was coded to use direct communication with the bridge without the bridge sli worked however with a slight perforamcne hit because it needs to communicate through the pci-e bus instead of a bridge.
