Looking at a x1950pro.
I am building a new system. I will probably get the MSI p35 neo2-fr , e2180 cpu, Crucial Ballistix
800mhz memory. i have windows xp will not use vista until more games with dx10 come out and some of the bugs are worked out. is the x1950pro a better choice than the 2600xt? Thanks for your help. |

As DX10 isnt your main concern, get the 1950Pro, it will slaughter a 2600XT, especially in higher resolutions with AA and AF

I would say to go with the 1950Pro as well. The 2600XTs do not perform that well in DX10 and might not perform as well as a 1950Pro in some games with higher graphics settings.
