? help me test

ok, so I am "noob city" on this one. I am dl 3dmark03 and was going to test the new 8800gt.
Do I need to under closk my e6850 to nott influence scores.. ie I want to testthe graphics card... and then see haw changes in oc'ingthe card change the score. I have never tested cards.. so am at a loss, thanks

They are separate scores that make up your total. Go all the way man!

so they are scored into catagories? I would not like to see an dis honest result from a super fast cpu.. and the range of cpu from the 6850 is large! I guess I want to simply have the focus be on the card and have heard reference to " false" reading in some tests due to oc;d cpus.. I truly have no clue thanks again!

System Specs

Focus will always be on the card, so don't worry.

You ge a separate breakdown of graphics card tests (HDR etc) and a separate CPU score. They combine up to make your total PCMark.

I dl the freeware but it showed no scores, is there a free ware testing program I can use?

try using aquamark 3, thats free. i would first run a test with everything default, then with just with oced grahics card, then oced cpu, then with both of em oced
