There is a metal grate that looks like it is only held in place by the fan. It is seperate from the fan and side panel, but is pressed against the panel by the fan, which is screwed into the plexi around it. I think if you remove the fan, the grate will come off, with nothing to hold it in, so you would have a big 25cm hole in the side (unless its glued in place, but I don't think so).

Superglue may work. The grate is inset into the side panel and 2/3 is covered/inset to the aluminum/steel on the side (have a look at the pic). If you just superglue the part that is covered by the AL/Steel, it should look fine on the ouside, even if it gets messy inside. |

There are no bolts holding the grill on, only the fan to the plexi around the grill. Once you remove the fan, the grill will come out with nothing holding it. You could try screwing the grill on, but would require drilling holes in the plexi and alum/steel panel.

frosty tech rates it as the 6th best cpu cooler made and with a scythe fan and a 250 mm fan blowing on it it should do well. I just have to sell My TRUE darnit. |

I'm going to go with this cooler
![]() beacuse i cannot figure out what the hell the T.T measurements are http://www.virtual-hideout.net/revie...X/index2.shtml read this review tell me what ya think it a good looking device and Well and I would think it is smaller height wise than both the T.R.U.E and Tun. Tower by a bunch. On Tun web site they list the tower as 108 mm H and the they list a D measurement of 153mm which I think is the total height since I think it is really just slightly smaller than the TRUE which is 160. No way is a T.T. 108 mm tall come ome on. Then they list it as 15.5cm tall ? which would be 155mm correct? read it and see very confusing http://www.tuniq.com.tw/Cooler%20Info/Tower-120.htm I cannot figure it out and thats why I'm not buying it T.T and I'm getting this one. The new cooler is 118 mm should fit in my new armor case with the 250mm side fan on. I will test my current set up with my everyday load in this case with th T.R.U.E. and then with the new case and cpu cooler listed above and report back and tell you, one if it fits, and two how well it cools. |

ZEROtherm Nirvana NV120 120mm fits in this Thermaltake Armor case
Man I love this case I didn't realize all the wire management places you can hide wires they even left a gap behind the motherboard so you can hide your PSU cords you not using. Also to follow up it appears it is exactly 160mm from motherboard to 250 fan casing so anything smaller than a Thermalright Ultra Extreme or Ultra non Extreme 120 will fit.

I switched from the Scythe Mine to the Nirvana. Both fit fine in the case, but I liked the look of the Nirvana better (and it cools better).
The only problem I have at the moment is that the sata cables I have are too short to hide and they make the inside look messy. Still love the case. Especially the USB ports on top. I can plug stuff in and not worry about walking past it an bumping them.

I personally like the Armor + but it doesn't cool better than the Armor, there is such a thing as too many fans. I don't like the Armor+ top it cheaply made,I do like it's increased width, but for the value the Armor is the better buy. The Armor + is a great case and looks cool but costs 200.00+ Last edited by trt740; Jan 30, 2008 at 03:31 PM. |

I have found my Armour to me a fantastic case (I have the VE2000 LCS (liquid cooling system)) so mine is identical however I got it with the water cooling setup included. (240mm rad at front)
Mine doesn't have the side fan though. The only minus points I can think of at the moment is the sheer weight of the thing means moving it about it a PITA (its 22kg empty or more like 30kg as mine is setup) Also the water cooling setup has the pump and resevoir attached to eachother (although I think you can detach them) which makes installing it and twin 8800GTX practically impossible due to the fitting locations on the floor of the case (hence why I have downgraded to a G92 GTS so I can do SLI).
