I've had it on my laptop for the 3+ months, and everything's been fine. The main purpose for the WFP is to see what apps people use, how they use them, and how they store their files (as in where they store their pictures or music, etc.). I've not been worried about it since I don't have anything incriminating to hide. Of course, they made this voluntary for a reason.

im sure you can call them and find out. OR you can try to install 64bit and see if the key works. just dont activate it and you can resell.

I will not be installing mine right away. (I already have Vista HP anyways not being used). If someone could confirm the version of the key(s), retail or OEM, that would be great. I think they are retail keys as there is no mention of OEM anywhere on the product key, but if someone can confirm.

Anyone want to sell their "free" Vista for a fair price? I'd be interested.

I've got a really handy and unique PC workbench (see FS thread) that I'd trade for it.

The same key works for both versions. Even on OEM. My Home Premium x64, installed using a retail disk, is using the key from my dead lappy, which is Home Premium 32bit, and OEM.
