Anyone know a free data deletion program for HDDs?

Hi all,

Anyone know of a good free data deletion program to wipe data off of a hard drive? I want to kill the data on a hard drive before returning it. It is the only hard drive in the laptop.

DBAN or Derik's Boot and Nuke. Best out there for free.

+1 i nuke everything with this even meets GOVT standards interpool canadian US all of it as well as havuing different format methods.
