A Slight Problem...

So lately I've been messing around with my computer trying to get a little more juice out of it. The only thing that I've changed is the DDR Voltage and it's set at .2v. I also used the easytune5 program last night and I bumped it up to a 2.9 just to see if it could run that. Well, it locked up, I pulled the battery out, held a piece of metal on the brackets for 5 seconds to reset it and aftwards ran fine. I tried this morning to try a 2.7 instead and as soon as I opened the tuner it locked up. I reset everything and still locks up once I get to Windows. Any alternative solutions?

There is alot more to overclocking than just RAM volts....really you need to find the max potential of both the RAM and CPU 1 at a time. Once this part is achieved you can then see where you can run both together for the most benificial gains.

Read as much as you can untill your eyes bleed. then when you think your brain is about to explode.....you have enough knowledge to start to OC....lol J/K on this part. On a serious note tho, Take it slow. work each individual part and see where you end up.

I also suggest you do your work in bios and not to use a "tuner" program to do the work for you! It will overvolt things for one and most crashes are due to heat!

Do you just get lock'd up? or what exactly happens more information would be helpfull thank just locked up >.<!

yea is it freezing, bsoding? Most likely you should set your timing and volts according to the SPD. Just default everthing, and use your bios not those crappy windows based things.
