Anyone using Vista, multitasking and at the same time playing DX10 games at high res with less than 512MB on board GDDR3 memory in the video card, many already do have 4Gig......me for one! Is it really necessary? probably not no ATM but worth getting IMO if the price is right.

I too use 4 gigs...
Although, vista 32 don't see all 4 gig, there are times, during gaming, that 2 gig wound just not be enough...
btw that is a good deal for memory....

There is no better time to buy ddr2 than now:

First it is super cheap and second it performs equally well and mostly better than the overpriced ddr3.

Like you have to have 1800MHz ddr3 ram to get the same read/write results as OCed ddr2 on about 1100MHz because of ddr3 lausy latencies.

I googled for reviews last night when I found this deal, I only found one but I cant find it now I forgot to save it to favorites, they overclock OK but not great, I think the review got 1060mhz at 5-5-5-15 or 900mhz at 4-4-4-15, give google a try, you might fing the one that I cant find now!

Speaking of cheap 4GB kits....
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Product...19221(ME).aspx

Having said that, I actually worked at Memory Express for over a year, and almost no-one in the store I worked in will recommend OCZ memory because a lot of it (more than average) would come back as defective.
In my opinion, it really depends on a product by product basis.... I've used some good OCZ kits in the past (and this internet rig I'm using to type this is using OCZ DDR1), but it does seem as though a larger percentage of OCZ's products are riddled with problems as opposed to some of their competitors.

Can't argue with the price of this kit though!

Maybe if:

You didn't call yourself "hacker" on the internet
You learned to spell "awesome" and "assassin"
they might think you are mature enough to get the game. -Davidelmo
