Installed board etc - get bluescreen on startup

I just installed my board into my case and all that and now I have my CD drive hooked up with Windows XP in the drive and for some reason its not asking me if I want to boot with the disk.. I thought I formatted my drive before I installed it on my new mobo but I guess not, it starts loading XP for like 2 seconds then blue screens me.. so how do I reformat my drive since I cant boot from the disc?

In BIOS setup, check your boot priority and make sure your cd-rom is higher "in the chain".

Sometimes you have to hit enter to "engage" into the option (i.e priority 1, 2 etc) and then select from a list, or at least thats what I have had to do.

So go down to priority 1, hit enter, choose from list, (should recoghnize the devices you have hooked up), select the CD-ROM, or cd/dvd option that shows.
Tinker around with it, it will move to #1.
