Is it ok to mess with the voltages in the attempt to oc a processor. I usually just adjust the FSB and multiplier. What would messing with the stock voltages do?

As you increase Core speed and FSb they CPU may become unstable and need more voltage to stabilize. Take it up until is goes unstable then add the minimum amount of voltage you can, until stable.

Do your research first and see what others had to do to maintain stable OC. Some CPU's require bigger increases in Vcore than others.

Yep, when you increase the FSB with stock voltage of everything you'll know when to increasing it if the system POST and a BSOD appears when starting your OS.

If you're willing to OC your X2, remember that you can't push it too much (average 300-400 MHZ with your core, Windsor if I'm righ), just don't raise the CPU Vcore over the 1.45v, the CPU goes MUCH hotter.

Also don't forget to increase the RAM voltage if you're setting it in stock speeds (if they work at 1.8, increase to 1.9v). Leave the other voltages at stock, the mobo you own will be strong enough to support the FSB increase.
