System Specs

Please take some time to fill in your System Specs.

You say this happens when you exit a game, or is the game crashing on you?

O.K., so now we get to what I believed at first. The crashes are corrupting the files.

When is the last time you ran a defrag of your HDD? Are you sure you have your CPU underclocked?

Any error messages pop up after the crashes? Had a peek at the Event Viewer (Control Panel>Administrator Tools> Event Viewer>System log & Application log) for more clues.

check the smart status of your hard drive, and download WD checkup tools and check the status of your drive, it could be dieing. I lost a WD drive due to heat problems, same thing happened to me.
