7900GS and FSX
How will it run on the rig in my UserCP?

Should be fine. I can run it maxed out at 1440 with medium density just fine with the service pack 1.

Which version of 7900 GS ? 256 or 512 one ?
I've the Palit 7900 GS 512 and that's perfect in game on my 1680X1050 22" LCD. I don't use AA or other filter ... so i can push details on max  ... and it's on my 3700+ O/C ... not on my E6750. ( Media Center 2005 too ) Enjoy !
