ATI X1800, X1600, X1300 (R5XX) Pricing Revealed

"The top dog X1800 XT with 512MiB of memory will be priced at $549, with a 256MiB variant weighing in at $499, while the X1800 XL 256MiB will cost $449. A quick check of a popular US online retailer showed NVIDIA's GeForce 7800 GTX selling around the $460 mark, with the 7800 GT costing ~$360."

Looks like competitive pricing, but still a little expensive.

If the Radeons beat the GForce, the prices a will be fine, if not well...

Guess we have to wait and see how the cards score.

Any final word on pipelines? Everything still seems to be pretty wishy-washy. If the XT is 32, 28, 24, or even 20 it would be worth it, but if it's still just 16 I'm going to have to agree with just about everyone else and say those clocks better work miracles.

Unless it is significantly faster then I think I'm going to get a GTX. For the price of an XT I could send my GTX to ViperJohn to get professionally modded.
