NVIDIA ForceWare 174.53 Beta Released

NVIDIA has updated its beta ForceWare driver to version 174.53, which is intended for use only on the GeForce 9600 GT and the new 9800 GX2. The only changes in this release are new PureVideo HD features for the GX2 card. Download locations are as follows:
  • Windows XP 32-bit – here
  • Windows XP 64-bit – here
  • Windows Vista 32-bit – here
  • Windows Vista 64-bit – here

Anyone found anything interesting with these drivers or is it a tad bit early?

wait...i just got my 9600GT in the mail...should i use the drivers that came with it, or use these new ones?

If you have a fully new VGA, use the latest drivers as you can (included betas)

Actually, to test out the card initially, I would use the newest "official" stable release. After I test out the card, and make sure it is working, I would then try the beta drivers.

When a new card is released not always has WHQL driver support
(WHQL candidate is BETA)
