This not only allows power supply to become more stable, but also reduces the heat produced, especially during huge overclocking.

Selected high-quality solid capacitors and POSCAP!
The all capacitors on these two mainboards are high-quality solid capacitors that are made in Japan. These capacitors with low impedance and high ripple current and other characteristics provide better filtering effect. To further highlight P7N Diamond products, the PWM capacitors on this mainboard are based on "Hi-c CAP". Hi-c CAP (Highly-conductive polymerized Capacitor) is similar to Tantalum capacitor which is used on mainboards in the past. But it has better ripple current and dissipation factor characteristic. Wow... these boards truly look like something. I like the fact that the P7N2/P7N D both are equipped with PCI-E XFIs! No need to buy an extra sound card. Moreover the board layouts are very well thought out. (Maybe not the circu pipe though... some CPU coolers wont really fit, my HDT S1283 would though!).

Some of the last high end boards I've seen with two IDEs...Whats up with the new trend of the smaller ferrites? I'm starting to see this on newer boards, moreover those ceramic (high C) caps... I'm thinking we have the stuff, but arent using it to their full potential. I like the SATA port layout though!
