Galaxy Gcards coming to US as KFA^2

(this might be old news) You hear some great reviews on Galaxy cards, but can never find them in the US. They are starting to release them to the US under the name KFA^2 (squared).

Edit: it seems that Tigerdirect are the only resellers so far: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...h.asp?mnf=3014

I do suspect that newegg will be one soon.

They already have some at NCIX in Canada under the same name. I think it's just their overclocked boards.

That is a damn good deal for a 9600gt. $137 USD.

Damn, I should have go that instead of my XFX (but then the xfx has transferable life time warranty, while KFA2 has only 1 year).

Yeah, that's the problem with the initial batch of KFA2s. But later they all got the coiled zalman version, which is cool and quiet. I got my 8800gt OC before they introduced the lineup. At first I was pissed looking at the new cooler, but then they started having noise problems.

That would bother you having a card locked at 100% fan speed? I see it as a plus to help out with cooling on the stock coolers.

They make some very nice cards like this one:

http://www.szgalaxy.com/usa/88gt512.htm. This card is asking to be voltmodded with the extra power plug (The card SHOULD work with one. I mean my 8800 works without a PCI-E 6 pin but it runs like a 8600 lol )
