BIOS Update

OK do i need to do anything special before i go ahead and update my BIOS? anything important?
disable anything?

truth be told i have no clue.

To be on the safe side:

- Copy BIOS to a boot-up diskette as well as the update tool (usually, Afudos).
- Boot from the diskette and run the program.
- Point to the location of the new BIOS and update it.

Remember to load defaults on next boot from the PC. If you had altered any setting in the BIOS, you have to alter it again otherwise, your good to go.

now for my next question:

I just changed the CPU over to my new FX-62 and it said CPU found, remove CMOS and change CPU settings and save before quit.

What?
