trying to update 5970 bios

Hi,

My sapphire 5970 still has the original bios ver. 102. I've downloaded the fixes on the net 102.zip and 103.zip files, but using rbe and atiwinflash I get a checksum mismatch error. Same with all sapphire bios images in the vga bios database on this website.

I don't understand why the cards existing bios checksum is different from every one I've downloaded?

This is what you need. It fixed my Sapphire 5970. Its original bios was not good.

That's great! I'm interested to know how you solved it before the discussion ends though.
