Club 3D Ati x1600xt overclocking help

Hello, i have this card for few years now and it's getting a little bit slow for todays games..so i thought about overclocking it. However club 3d x1600xt doesn't have a lm63 or F75373 temp. chip. So the temperatures will not come up in ati tools. I'm all for taking risks but not that much. Blind overclocking? Can i install a temp. chip? or is there a temp chip on it but not activated? Is it overall possible to clock that card without damagin the card itself?

Thanks.
