Circuit City had the 16in one for sale for 700, but the specs was nothing as stated here, no blu-ray, no dedicated gcard, less memory, smaller hdd, slower cpu...nothing but fail. But I bet when full spec up, it would be damn nice...but pricey.

How do the 9xxxM series of cards compare to the 8xxx series? I have an 8600M GT in my lappy, what is the equivalent on a performance scale?

I had a lot of trouble with faulty Acer equipment in the past. I wouldn't touch that notebook with a 12 foot pole...
