Bad Partition???

Solved!!! Solved!!!! Solved!!!!!

Partition Magic 8, shows that my 500gig F1 is bad

i have noticed it doesnt have any unallocated space?

i have deleted and formated it using vista and its is still bad?

also gives me this error when i start up PM8

i clicked yes previously and does nothing to the drive!

SOLVED SOLVED!

PM8 doesnt like Vista formating HDD's

deleted and re-created the partition with xp disc, formated IN xp and solved the problem

well go you! sorting your problems out without us!

nice one mate, shows not worrying or getting excited can help you in the short term. Hope the F1 treats you well, might have to treat myself to one soon. How is it by the way? besides all of that headache haha>?

Also, what does it score in Vista user experience thing?

partition magic has problems reading some disks/partitions.

I had a reading problem error (I think it was 110, but can't say for sure) even though the disk was OK and working. just wanted to change the paritions size.
try acronis disk director. works like charm. I find it much better then partition magic.
