DFI LP DK P45-T2RS Motherboard Pictured
I'll be very brief on this one. If you're wondering if DFI is going to announce an Intel P45 powered board, than the answer is yes. Below, there is the first picture of the DFI LP DK P45-T2RS motherboard, and a chart where you can find all the information you need to know and even more.

I like the cholor scheme and cooling, though with these new boards and their extreme cooling, Id like for them to take in mind the huge aftermarket air coolers they have out there.

DFI Should really consider stepping up from 4 Phases...Its somewhat inappropriate for such a board geared towards for Ocing. Oh yes btw, whats the CF Setup for P45?

Nice board. I've always had the best luck with DFI. I don't think I'll buy this one though. I'll be savin' for Nahalem.

This is a carbon copy of the LP DK X38-T2R, except with the P45 chipset and different cooling.

It's funny how we all have such different experiences with brands. I've RMA'd 3 ASUS boards in the last 2 years, including a Black Pearl that I just sent back. Never had to RMA any other brand, ever.

Yeah definitely. I absolutely love the DK P35-T2RS though. I honestly want to either keep this and put a waterblock on it or get a DDR3 board.

I think this board has the potential! and I'm with you Paulieg, I never had a problem with my Blood Iron, now in sneeky's ladies computer, but a doa Gigabyte and a Striker II board that just went with the palit... All I can say is it seems that DFI has some rock solid boards if you get the right numbering system!

Yes, if you're running a crapload of stuff through the southbridge. Most people don't, though.
90% of people's southbridges can run passive just fine.

DFI were great for overclocking and stability back in the day when the other companies didnt get into the higher end gaming boards. Now that all the big players are dealing in the high end gaming side of things, DFI cant compare.
I wouldnt waste my money on any modern DFI board, they seem so far behind in features and ability. |
