GTX 280/260 teaser drivers

Figured id post this up for you guys i got them fro a bud of mine in BFG at any rate they work with modified ini's as the orig drver only supports GTX 260 and GTX 280 cards they also support cuda physx o btw the drvers are amazing fps shot up. i cant ul them to my server and share them with you guys as iv been told not to but here ye be take a gander.

they also managed to fix DX10 crysis plays alot better etc some games work better..over all drivers improved everything...theirs a new NVCP

there damn good all around i have to say the best drivers iv ever tested not catostrophic fps like 20 but 2-5 depending on game..and when they dont imporve fps i did notice that the image was better AA shadows etc....

ok so both tests were done at same clock speeds, only difference is Drivers!

here are the differences in moving from 174.74 drivers to 177.26, i am HIGHLY impressed.

Scene 1: +15.8%
Scene 2: +14.4%
Scene 3: +15.2%
Scene 4: +17.2%

did a quick run of 3dmark 06', highest attainable score previously was ~16,050 (820/2052/2502) - the new drivers pull ~16,750 (800/2000/2502)

crysis benchmark runs at medium, 1920x1200, on 174.74, the score was ~56 fps, on 177.26, score goes up to ~65fps, yet another ~14% increase.

EDIT: wow also UT3 showing BIG gains at 1920x1200, lowest fps ~75 as oppose to ~55 before, and average is up from 60-70 to 80-90

very very impressed for just a driver release. much more testing to come.

this is whats in my .inf file, try pasting it all into yours. should be good for 9600GT and 9800GTX/GX2, just add your card to the list of them in the .inf to add support. eg.

well anything can be found on the net when you look hard enough, and modding the driver inf file is really easy too, just have to think logically.

but really, every game i try is running easily somewhere between 10% and 20% better.

THE BEST Nvidia drivers to come for a long time. this will make the 9800GTX and 8800GT far more competitive against the 48xx cards, especially if this is only a taste of driver enhancements to come not gunna get my hopes up cos these are already AWESOME, but 177.36 are already on the cards....

thought id give these a try as the latest ones on the nvidia site 175.**?? dont work so well with some of my older games (silent hill 3 in particular, crashes/runs like 15fps everytime i set the rendering res to 4096x4096)
