Logitech G25 Advice

hey guys,

i was playing some racing games some time ago, and started to think about increasing my level of enjoyment with racing games by getting a racing wheel. i looked and searched and i found the Logitech G25 racing wheel which looks amazing, has stunning features and is easy to use !! i cant be bothered to tell you all the specs but that wheel really makes a racing game feel realistic !!

well i wanted to ask the people who live in australia, if possible in adelaide, that where can i get this wheel and for how much, i know its on the expensive side but it works with the ps2 and ps3 which is a BONUS !!!

so if you have any ideas then please let me know !!

thanks !!

dude, i got it for like 350$ in perth, but its totally cheaper now.

10/10 for the wheel.......WOW.....it bring a whle new element to racing games, the dual force feedback is awesome, just awesome, it really feels like a car on the road, bumps... curbs... you feel everything.

then theres the matter of the 6-speed manual, thats just a gift from god hey, the shifter is robust and tight (short shift) and the pedals are strong and have different sensitivity/resistance.

so yeah all in all 10/10 it is THE definitive experience in PC racing games.

i could go on and on about it if you want, but yeah, sooooo worth the price tag.

THOSE ARE THE SAME FREAKIN' REASONs I WAAAAAAAAAAANT IT !!!!!! AAAAAHHHHRRGHGHH

you can change the settings thru the configuration of the wheel, the software comes with the CD and it looks really easy to setup and stuff !!

and one more question, once you got it, and once you played the game at the default configurations of the wheel, how strong was the force feedback, because i read it in the wheel that the force feedback is that is really strong, you might have to put it around 20 percent and the when the wheel has to come back to its original positiion, you have to change that to around 40 percent !! something like that !!!

I WAAAAANT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i found the sensitivity perfectly fine on default for most games, it usually sets around 80% for me, but i boost that to 100% for test drive unlimited.

i just tried GRID on it last night.....BLEW MY MIND

i have only 1 bug with mine to do with the wheel resetting to the centre position after some major hardcore drifting, but that can be solved in 10 seconds by an "unplug - plug in" so its hardly a deficit....

yeah that doesn't even detract from my score, still 10/10, i really cant fault it, oh and i forgot (you probably know) its a momo leather wrapped wheel (very soft ) and it has paddle shift for us too, and the 6-speed shifter can be morphed into a standard sequential auto box....

dude it is the rolls royce of game controllers.

If you can afford a G25...get it! You will never look back, and once you start playing some more serious racing sims...then it comes to life...literally...
