Laptop screen flickering
Every time I open a video and play it using VLC player or Windows Media Player Classic my screen starts flickering
. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could go about troubleshooting this issue... Here are the laptop specs:Video: Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M 128MB CPU: Intel C2D T7500 2.2 GHZ RAM: 3 GB Any assistance would be much appreciated. So far I have uninstalled and reinstalled the current versions of drivers for the video with zero success. |

Just an update:
I was thinking that it could be a refresh rate setting. It is current set at 60. (highest it goes). Is this a normal setting? |

What format is the video file? And are you using codec's? If not, use this here. If this helps, but doesn't solve the problem, it could be just you video card. If it's a HD file, your card can't play it anyway. To play HD you need atleast 256 on-board ram to play. And atleast 2gb of system ram. Hope this helps. Good luck
