Would my HSF fit in this case?
I am looking to get a new case and really want a clear case but i am not going to give up my 1283 HSF. Would the 1283 fit in this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811166042
link to the cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835233003 one last thing would a 9800GTX or a 4850 fit in the case

That is going to cut it very VERY close bro. You may have to look at this as one of your options
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835233004 The GTX would also be very close as well, the 4850 no problems. |

LOL, I mentioned to Antec that I thought case design engineers were on crack. The Sunbeam guys are just nutts.
Are you sure you want that case? (besides acrylic being a terrible material for a case, the cooling fans blow at the bottom of your GPU and not along its axis) back on track, your cooler would not fit in that case unless you cut a hole to let it stick out the top.

I don't want to get a new cooler. So if it fits in there then that is fine even if it has a mm between the HSF and the case...
@MK I have always liked the case but never had a reason to buy it and now i do.(my case has 3 dents in the top time to replace it)

Here is a shot of mobo to the Video card bracket
![]() The cooler is 159mm (converting it to inches is 6 1/4") Than after you add the thickness of the CPU socket and CPU too its gonna stick way out. The CM case is very nice (I really dont like plastic as it retains heat) If you want send me the CM side panel and I will mod a window in it for you. This one is cool too http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129042

MK how much would it cost me to have a window put in? BTW i may have to put a case on hold because my mobo isn't working right(wont post and is unstable when it does) everything stock speeds too.
