Which is better?

Well since my Dell's Motherboard is dying and or the powersupply is failing.
I have decided I will do somethong

So here is my idea..which should I do?

Build a Custom Computer and make it so i can use some of my Dell's Components in it.
OR Should I
Buy a Barebone from Newegg, then Transfer the components that work to the Barebone?
Eh...Which is cheaper, and cost effective in the long run, and will last me?
I wll find a new job probaly..hoping My old job sucked and i quitted it..i would have gotten $1,260...

Need more info...what components would you plan to transfer over? I'm assuming HDD, possibly Video if it wasn't IGP, CD/DVD, etc?

Also what kind of budget are you working with? Need more info from your end before you can get a useful answer from our end dude.

If I were you, I'd start saving up money for a better computer, or save up to increase that budget to $500.

But to answer your question: it would be cheaper, and probably better, to just buy what you need rather than buying a barebone PC.
