SentrySafe Intros Fire and Water-safe External Storage

This 78 year old company, specializing in fool-proof safes that are supposed to be safe from fire and water introduce their latest product, the SentrySafe QA0005 Fire-Safe Waterproof, a fire and water safe external hard-drive.

The device uses a fortified Maxtor OneTouch4 Mini and bundles password protection and data encryption software. According to the company, this device can withstand up to 30 minutes at 840 °C and can be completely immersed in water for up to 24 hours.

The QA0005 sells for US $400.

the other cable must be hiding... or maybe its intended to set the USB port on the laptop on fire.

400 bucks, jesus thats nuts!

If you really need water-safe and fire protection then you really need to just back it up online or sumtin else.
