front panel audio troubles

Hey everyone. I cant get my front panel audio to work right. The case comes with these pins: GND, MIC-IN, MIC-VCC, Spk-R, Spk-L, LIN, RIN. the motherboards pin diagram shows pin1- mic_L, pin2- GND, pin3- MIC_R, pin4- Presence#, pin5- Lineout_R, pin6- MIC_JD, pin7- Front_JD, pin8- None, Pin9- Lineout_L, pin10- Lineout_JD

Ive tried 2 different ways of hookign them up but neither work. Please help! :P

what motherboard is it that you have?? Some might have the option to enable front audio in the BIOS aswell.

I got the AGP version of the card. AGP stands for “A Good Plug”, because it will plug into my motherboard, unlike the other kinds of graphics cards which don’t. I don’t even know why they make those ones. I like the fan, because it looks like the turbine on a jet, and jets are fast.

In some instances you may have to enable the FP Audio feature in BIOS too...I am unfamiliar with that board tho.

Does the MB Manual say anything particular? I haven't used FP Audio in a while, but it should work fairly easily...all of my recent cases had the FP Azelia Audio connection which was one solid connector that worked fine...my dad's rig has one that has seperate pins tho...it can be a pain for sure.
