I'm so stoked, just went to blizzards website and saw they are making diablo 3!!!!!

Yeah this has been news for the last few weeks now Gilletter!

Scan the last few weeks worth of news releases and search Diablo 3 in the forum search, there's been a good buzz about it, I'm excited...some don't like the new art direction, to me it looks good...but a video can't show everything our monitors will...I just hope they release a demo.

So far it looks fantastic, I can't wait myself!

as long as it doesn't play like WoW... I tried the free trial... deleted it after 3 hours of playing cause I didn't like the feel of it. I like the visual look of the loooong gameplay video... just hope it looks nicer than they show, smooth it out a bit make it a little more HD... and guess I'm behind on the news I just went there to see... I've been doing it once a month for the last couple of years WAITING for them to announce they were doing it

I don't mind how the game looks as long as it has the amazing addicting gameplay diablo is known for, i mean yeah i would prefer the graphics to be a little darker, but i'm not fussed honestly, i'd rather them focus on the gameplay than redo the graphics now, would you want to wait longer for that!?

Well some of us like the bleak/dark/realistic feel that is present int the first two Diablo games.

I am sick of stubby dwarves with biceps as thick as their heads and characters that wield swords & hammers the size of small cars. Cartoonish graphics have their place of course, but not in Diablo and other similar games.

This is one of the things I didnt like in Unreal Tournament 3 too. But ok, futuristic power armor and stuff may be bulky, and allow you to wield 50+kg weapons ... can be overlooked a bit I guess.

Nox IS an awesome game, and Darkstone was nice too. I remember that in Darkstone your characters aged. and after finnishing the game if you play again the quests would change and the areas randomize. That was a neat idea poorly implemented though. The map looke too tiled, but hey.. it was a start.
