New comp today! BLAZES!

Pentium CPU, 133mhz
16mb RAM
TV tuner/video card combo, unsure of specs as of now.
1.6gb hd
2 floppy drives, 1 CD ROM drive
Windows 98

All in a cream case.

Included was an HP deskjet printer and 15" Sony trinitron monitor.

All for $10

It's actually really fast with '95 on it!

What are good things to do with old comps like this? So far I'm using it as a TV/FM tuner :P

Having vulgar words in your title is pretty lame. Try to be a little more respectable when thinking of your titles.

well its what youd call legacy hardware

not really good for much these days dos gaming maybe could use it for internet although i doubt it would even be good for that

that cpu just lets it down tho its too slow for most programs and even os

id get damn small linux and use that you might see some improvement over win 95, DSL isnt that good looking but compared to win 95 its nice

there are aome even more light linux distros so you could google for some

erm really why did you buy it?

oh and mod the case like paint it for a start unless its pure plastic on the sides and top then i would paint plastic personally

the mature thing to do would be to ignore the swear word and let the mods handle it, since a mod already handled it first few posts otherwise you should have gave the same advice as was given in a nice mature fashion

some people casually swear but there is a reason we call some words swear words so we have words we can use to convey strong emotions of hate or anger or pain like "damn that friggin hurt"

swear words are so casual they dont mean anything anymore they lost all the impact they used to have like years ago the word cunt was terrible now its means like mate or pal

i have been known to swear casually which i realise i shouldnt do so much

I've already finished cleaning it out and I'm about to install a spare 40gb IDE HD for Damn Small Linux (nothing wrong with swearing, they even do it in OS names :P) and Windows 95.

I have an old Toshiba Tecra laptop running at 333mhz too, dunno what to do with it, hahah!

That's some good fortune finding a rig like that. Mullered had a good suggestion in making a DOS gaming rig.......
