I would like to know what ICs they are using in this kit. I love the white headspreaders and spot on review, but I was hoping this kit would push past 1000mhz easily. Looks like it wont though.

System Specs

I have the same memory, but has a different color (Green Black) and it came in a wooden box. About 4-4-4-12 and 800 Mhz, they're capable of that speed but only with 5:6 FSB Ratios. Since Mushkin says nothing about 1:1 FSB ration and 800 Mhz, you might say they're covered on that.

This memory was a good option when I bought it but now at a similar price you could go for this: 996593 DDR2 REDLINE PC2-8000 5-5-5-12 2x2GB. It's true that 996580 has a similar potential with OC, but with this model you get same out of box.
