First build budget roughly £600
I'm planning on building my first PC in just over a month's time and I'd like some advice on parts to get, the total can't be more than £600. So can you please post here what you think would be good parts to use for it?
Thanks.

I'd like it to be able to run Team Fortress 2 at a good graphics quality while keeping a decent frame rate, Ideally a monitor would fit into that as well but I might be able to get one from my dad so don't worry about that, thanks. I'd prefer not to overclock if possible as I don't want to break it and if I overclocked it I probably would lol.

Well, that PC is like for serious gaming, I believe you can play Team Fortress 2, maxed out on settings on a cheaper PC as well. With that PC that I put together, you can play everything maxed out on 1680 x 1050 resolution, no problems.

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/145668 Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L £64.95
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/139971 Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 £109.27 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/127584 Coolermaster Elite 330 £27.59 HD4850 ~£110 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/115418 Seagate 320GB HDD £37.01 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/111439 Corsair 2Gb Kit £33.65 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/127861 OCZ StealhXStream 600W £49.18 For £110 you can either buy a E8400 or Q6600 on ebuyer, ive opted for the E8400 as you want speed and dont want to oc. Theres a cheaper HD4850 on ebuyer for under £110, it looks to be out of stock atm. Ebuyer do free delivery too. that leaves you at £430, with enough money to buy anything else like a monitor / drives / keyboard + mouse. |
