In benches, the DDR2 1200, but for gaming I doubt there will be alot, if any difference.

Kinda strange comparison as DDR-1200 @ tCL5 has 20% lower latency than DDR-800 @ tCL4.
-> DDR-1200 is faster.

Timings ("tCL" etc.) are nothing but clock cycles of latency. At 600MHz (DDR-1200) tCL5 is a shorter time than tCL4 at 400MHz (DDR-800). For what comes to latency is that all that matters is the absolute time wasted for latency, thus tCL5 @ 600MHz is always faster than tCL4 @ 400MHz.
tCL5 @ 600MHz = 8.3ns
tCL4 @ 400MHz = 10ns
For comparison:
tCL2 @ 200MHz (DDR-400) = 10ns
