how do i mod my GPU bios to fix fan speeds?

how do i mod my bios or do what i have to do to raise my fan speeds on my 4850. ive tried rivatuner and speed fan with no luck, they just did not work. can some one direct me to how to do this? thanks

anyone im getting 60C idle temps and 85C load.

thats actually normal for a 4850, I have seen far worst than that

why don't you try pushing it with the fur bench and see what temp you get

what is the fur bench? and i want to boost the fan speed so i can OC more, i think its heat that is limiting me. it wont let me max my ram in CCC overdrive.

Dont bother running the furbench...your card is already running pretty hot.

You need to dump your bios then edit the fan settings, then reflash it. Its pretty easy.

ok i got those file but now how do i put those new bios onto the gpu?

i don't know about flashing and ATI cards

IMO just get riva tuner, if you want to fix your fan speed at a certain fan speed then you can do it with riva tuner, you can also set autimatic fan speeds with riva tuner as well, depending on how skilled you are with RT.
