I saw a mudcrab the other day, nasty little creatures.

I need some kind of patch for 2 also, thanks for the link. I keep getting strange coloring issues, likely due to it's age (and it's resolution) and vista I think, it happens w/ aoeII sometimes too.

Both Fallout 1 & 2 are extremely buggy without the patch. In addition to the official patches (which left many bugs unfixed), there are fan-made patches which greatly improve the game. Just make sure to follow the instructions in the patch and you'll be fine. Dont know about Vista but I dont recall having color issues on my XP machine, but i havent played for close to a year so my memory is a bit foggy on that. In any case, try the patches, running in 16 bit and at lower resolutions that may help, if not checkout the NMA forum for help.

As a Fallout fan, I'm glad to hear the news
I decided to shed my narrow views of "Fallout is isometric, Fallout is 2d, Fallout is turn-based" and embrace the new long ago. If they blow it, I'll just go back to finishing Fallout 2 a couple of times... again
If they screw it up, it won't be good for their public image either!
