Guide: How to Increase preformance of a VGA Duorb and make the Fans Red LEDs!

After Seeing the nVidia got their own themed antec 900, my love for ATI did not allow that, so this is why I am making my antec 900 100% red, including my coolers and my duorb!

Supplies:
Pliers
Screw driver
Super Glue
Thermaltake Duorb VGA
2 Zalman Fatal1ty 80mm Red Cooler Fans
3pin Y-cable/splitter

1. Unscrew both fans on the duorb, each side should look something like this:

The bottom of the duorb fans should look something like this:

2. You will need that very bottom mounting piece of the duorb fans.

NOTICE: You will need to destroy your duorb fans, so there is no going back unless you order replacements.

3. Use pliers and knives and whatever is necessary to get that very bottom clear plastic piece out.

4. The Zalman Fatal1ty fans have legs and you will need to take them off and have a flat surface on the bottom, use pliers to break them off.

5. Now you will need super glue. Take the stickers off both bottoms for better gluing. put a lot on the clear bottom of the thermaltake bottom piece. You will then glue it upside down to the Zalman's Fan bottom.

6. Now mount the new fans back on the duorb.

You will now have 2 3pin adapters, use the splitter to make them into one. Now connect it to either the graphics card or the motherboard.
Should look something like this when its on:

I noticed these fans blow a lot harder and colder air than the stock thermaltake fans. So I will be likely to get decreased temperatures.

Now time to make an ATI themed 900. Just out of curiosity, where did you see the Nvidia themed Antec 900?

I guess they are supposed to be replacements for a zalman cooler, hence why you have to break off the legs and use super glue..
