QX6850 or intels new Penryn
hi im getting a new cpu dont no if i should wait for the new Penryn cpu to come out or just get a QX6850 what do you guy think

im getting a new cpu because the 1 have now is goin to my girlfriend
with my asus board and old case so i looking at new cpu for the best oc

Well, if you want to drop 1.5k for the intel I recommend buying it, only because there isn't enough info about the phanom yet.

lol she dont need that much power no she could go by useing a old p4 lol she uses it for the net and few games |

I didn't say the the CPU wouldn't OC well. I simply said I don't know enough information about the processor, nor does anyone else. My reasoning for recommending the Intel was based purely on my/everyone's ignorance of the counter product thus far.

OK... she is using it for internet and a few games. You say she will be fine with a P4. Why give her an E6850?
