ASUS Radeon HD 4670 Picture and Specs. Emerge

Donanimhaber released pictures of the upcoming ASUS Radeon HD 4670 graphics card (model EAH4670). The card is based on the newer graphics processor from ATI, the RV730. There are two models by ASUS lined up for release. The first one being a standard 512 MB GDDR3 model, and another 1 GB model. The card provides HDMI port onboard, neighboured by D-Sub and DVI connectors. The card supports ATI Crossfire X.

The card features a custom design by ASUS. A rather large GPU cooler that spans across two slots is featured. It is advertised to keep the GPU 15 °C cooler than the reference cooler. Specifications wise, the card features GDDR3 memory clocked at 2008 MHz, with the core at 750 MHz. It is HDCP compliant.

Wow... that small card is faster than my X1950PRO by lot...

I want one to replace my X1950PRO

. I find it amazing how capable that little cooler is, when it can cool a 8800GS down to , 60*C load, while running quietly!

I think it's because:

- You have 2 digital outputs: one DVI, one HDMI.
- AFAIK there's no HDMI-to-D-sub so in order to have two analogic outputs, they had two options, 2 DVI + HDMI or one DVI, one D-sub and one HDMI. The latter is cheaper so...

Well with this card being Pointed at the Middle Weight Class, this company kind of figured majority would have either DVI or VGA, but not HDMI-HDCP-Audio, i myself still have VGA (had this monitor for close to 8 years) NEC Multisync LCD1700V
