Foxconn Launches Quantum Force Destroyer

Foxconn this week released two new motherboards targeted at people who use AMD processors. I'll leave only a link to the system specs for the first one, the A79A-S. Being tagged as a "Digital Life" motherboard it's not in our best interest. The second one - FOXCONN Quantum Force Destroyer is another story. Based on the NVIDIA 780a SLI MCP that supports the latest AMD Phenom/Athlon/Sempron processors and HyperTransport 3.0 technology it represents the first Quantum Force solution for the AMD platform. As such it comes with a total of four PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots providing up to 3-way SLI support or even 4-way graphics (no SLI). In addition, just like every other Quantum product, the Force Destroyer comes with Foxconn's proprietary Quantum BIOS, custom heatpipe cooling solution, Quantum Lap motherboard tray for convenient workbench installation, and the Quantum Flow kit which improves airflow when two or more graphics cards are installed. You can find a complete rundown on this features as well as the full motherboard specs within the official press release here.

I don't know if I like the PCI-e bus's location on the 790FX board...Doesn't allow dual-slot cards in 3/4xCrossfire. And, would restrict airflow for 4x Single-slot cards.

Its not the 790 version, its 780a from Nvidia. It looks awesome, but as one poster said, Id like to see a 790FX/X version from them. Love the name too

Actually it's 2 mobos, the 780a is the quantum force destroyer, the 790FX & SB750 is Digital Life.

ya the 790 board is a mess IMHO, but then again, im still not impressed with PCI express placement with PCI. I dont need 4 PCIe 8/16x slots, but since they are able to support PCIe 1x-16x i guess thats ok aslong as i just have 2 video cards. Just too bad we dont see a 790x/780 line board that is Top End, aka DFI Blood Iron Comes to mind.

Support given by faxconn

This is one of the wonderful concepts of faxconn. By the implementation of such ideas people are benefitted. As people are becoming digitalized day-to-day such things have to be launched in order to fulfill the desires and needs of common people. This new motherboard supports dual channel with great memory which can also be used with a socket through which one can perform tasks in the best way.
